Pamphlet poster featuring image from Trine Søndergaard & Nicolai Howalt’s collaborative work series “Algae”.

The work is beautifully printed on delicate, high-quality 90 g/m2 paper with a glossy finish on the one side of the pamphlet. Thereby functioning as a unique small poster without texts or logos. The backside of the pamphlet is uncoated (matte) and printed in a beautiful rose color with a small text describing the artwork as well as information about Fabrikbooks. Notice that there may be a slight show-through of the text on the backside of the pamphlet.

In Algae, Søndergaard and Howalt have photographed specimens of algae collected over a period of 100 years in the Øresund Sea by the Danish Botanical Museum. The splendid variations of purple in these banal, but essential growths, reveal a part of the marine history of the narrow strait between Denmark and Sweden. Captured and enlarged, the algae emerge from the anonymity of the depths and unfold a graceful beauty that recalls terrestrial flora.
