The poster was released in connection with Howalt’s exhibition at Nikolaj Kunsthal in Copenhagen in 2020-2021.

Old Tjikko is considered to be one of the oldest living organisms and trees in the world with its impressive age of 9,600 years. The poster features one of the many images created by Howalt by exposing the same photographic negative of Old Tjikko onto different types of aged light-sensitive photo papers. Thus the mystical foggy landscape of the poster stems from the uncontrollable silver halides in the photographic paper.

The poster is printet on 130 g/m2 Scandia Smooth White paper.
