Trine Søndergaard poster from her solo exhibition at Gl. Holtegaard (DK) in 2021.

Borgherre is a baroque apple variety that grows in the gardens at Gl. Holtegaard and have been growing there since the 18th century.

What all Søndergaard’s works have in common is an inherent interest in time, or perhaps rather the dissolution of time. Trine Søndergaard’s works traverse time, connecting the past and the present, history and our own age.

In the exhibition Søndergaard’s works enter a dialogue with the historical architecture and Baroque garden of Gammel Holtegaard. The exhibition presents a large body of works made specifically for the art space, such as series of the historical variety of apple grown in the museum gardens reaching back to the 18th and 19th century – around the time Gammel Holtegaard was built.

The poster is printed beautifully on 250 g/m2 Arctic Silk Paper and  looks beautiful in both a white and natural oak frame.
